Girls’ Weekend in Palma Nova: Sun, Cocktails & Relaxation
Sometimes, you just need a break with your best girls, and Palma Nova proved to be the perfect spot for a long weekend escape! With a short flight, all-inclusive perks, and easy access to great food, drinks, and sunshine, this was an ideal destination for a girlie getaway.
Getting to Palma Nova & First Impressions
Our May 2024 trip started with a Thursday night flight after work with EasyJet, meaning we didn’t check in to our hotel until 2 AM—a little late, but nothing a pool day couldn’t fix!
After landing, we grabbed a taxi straight from the airport, which made for a quick and easy transfer to our hotel. First impressions? Since it was early May, the weather was in the early 20s°C and didn’t really warm up until mid-morning. As soon as the sun set, you definitely needed a jumper!
Where We Stayed: Hotel Globales Panama
We opted for an all-inclusive stay at Hotel Globales Panama in Palma Nova, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice for a low-maintenance, stress-free trip.
Great pool area—perfect for lounging all day.
Plenty of sunbeds—no need to wake up early to reserve one!
Unlimited food & drinks—because who doesn’t love all-inclusive perks?
Would we recommend it? 100%! Free drinks, great food, and an easy-going vibe—what more could you want for a girls' trip?
Girls’ Weekend Itinerary
Our main agenda? Relax, sip cocktails, and enjoy great food!
After a late check-in, we made the most of our first day by lounging by the pool, soaking up the sunshine, and indulging in all-inclusive drinks and snacks.
That evening, we ventured into Palma for dinner and cocktails. The highlight? Bar Abaco, a unique cocktail bar inside an old perennial mansion. The decor was spectacular—think Baroque-style interiors, antiques, and a stunning garden area. The cocktails were on the pricier side, but absolutely worth it for the venue aesthetics!
No trip to Spain is complete without tapas! We dined at Tinto Palma in Palma, where we enjoyed a great selection of tapas alongside live Spanish guitar music—a truly authentic experience.
Food & Drinks Highlights
🍕 Il Chiringo Pizzeria—Perfect for pizza and pasta lovers, with delicious food and great atmosphere.
